Invalid keystore format

I recently updated the application on the market, I created a keystore and a corresponding password. Now I updated the application and intend to update it on the market too, I published QR codes for the same on the media, and while I try to sign my new APK, I continue to receive the "Invalid keystore format" error for the option "Use existing Keystore" . It is impossible to determine where I am wrong.

Are you sure you are opening the same keystore as before and using the correct password? Perhaps there is a chance that the keystore is somehow messed up; maybe you have a backup?

(for an existing KeyStore ) Put your .jks file in the workspace, and then right-click project> export> Android> Export Android application> cilck in the browser (select your project)> next> click on the browser (specify the path to your .jks file from the workspace where you posted it)> password> alias (select your alias from drop down)> password> terminate
