Aligning the image at the top of the table cell

I am developing a wordpress page inside the wordpress editor, and I cannot figure out how to make the gray image fill at the top of the table cell. As long as the text in the left cell does not fall below the gray image, everything is in order. But as soon as the text falls below the bottom of the image, the image is pushed down. Here is the code:
