IIS Express with VS2010 SP1 constantly rebuilds website

I am working with a larger solution that has several website designs, and recently it was decided to switch from Cassini to IIS Express. There are about 10 developers who all use the same solution / project and therefore web.configs, and they all work with IIS Express, except for me. The problem is that without a template that I can figure out, IIS Express constantly resets itself and performs a new build, thereby reloading the session.

Here are some of the reasons why it will be rebuilt:

  • Editing an ASPX File
  • Do nothing for a few minutes.
  • Editing the code behind the file
  • Using the website as usual

Note: the above actions do not always cause recovery. In addition, many of these actions have been perfectly implemented using Cassini.

My system is pretty standard compared to other developers who have no problems.

Here is some more info:

  • I am using VS2010 SP1 and Windows 7 Professional.
  • I started using IIS Express 7.0, but have since tried to upgrade to 8 with the same results.
  • I uninstalled / reinstalled IIS Express several times without any luck.
  • Using ReSharper 7.x
  • I turned off editing and continue

Now I'm completely in debug mode, and this rebuild / reset constant becomes prohibitive.

EDIT: It is actually being restored, as verified, using health monitoring at the suggestion of John Saunders.

EDIT: One important thing that I did not mention about mainly happens during a debugging session. Not only during a debugging session, but also usually. In fact, adding a breakpoint or even hitting a breakpoint can lead to recovery.

I would look at Resharper as the cause of the problem. Try disabling or removing Resharper completely and see if the problem persists.

I was much happier with coderush from dev to express myself ... I do not work for them, I just tried both, and Resharper really tied my system, and I did not like it ...
