Any tests for parser generators?

Has anyone seen a good comparison of the performance of parser generators?

I am particularly interested in: 1) recursive climb parser generators for LALR (1) grammars; 2) parser generators that produce C / C ++-based parsers.

Are you curious how fast parser generators work? Depends on the type of parser technology that it supports and the care of the guy who implemented the parser generator. See this answer for some numbers about LALR / GLR parser generators for real languages: fooobar.com/questions/935639 / ... IMHO, this is not very important; parser generators are basically much faster than the guy using them.

If the question is, how fast are the generated parsers? you get different answers. LALR analyzers can be implemented with a few machine instructions for the GOTO transition (using GOTO tables with direct indexing) and a few abbreviations. It is quite difficult to win.
