How to remove Settings.bundle from a previous version of the application?

My iPad is currently using Settings.bundle to enable settings both through the built-in Settings.app file and through InAppSettingsKit. Now I want to completely switch to IASK and disable the built-in settings. I renamed the Settings.bundle folder to InAppSettings.bundle, but when I deploy this new version to my test device, the old settings data seem to stick - at least I can access the old settings through Settings.app.

Is there a way to force remove Settings.bundle when a new version of the application is installed?

Make sure you do a clean build in Xcode. To create an assembly, you also need to first remove the application from the Simulator or device. Otherwise, the old files remain in place.
