I am looking for a small and simple environment for running small C ++ samples. I do not like to open a visual studio and create a project for only one source file with 50 lines of code. The only requirement is to support stl (smth like http://www.compileonline.com/compile_cpp_online.php on the desktop would be great).
Thanks.

One of the features you have is Devcpp
You can also watch this supported version of Dev-C ++
You might want to check out this (fairly complete) review . Code :: Blocks , CodeLite , Dev-C ++ and QtCreator (although the latter is pretty heavy again) are AFAIK's popular open source choices.
SciTE is the editor I used. If I remember correctly, it has short abbreviations for assembly and launch.
