Alt tab from fullscreen SDL

When I launch a full-screen window (C ++ with SDL using the SDL_FULLSCREEN flag), alt-tab does not work. Examining this, I found only messages from people who have problems with him. Is there a way to do this sequentially on different machines? (I am currently running Ubuntu, but I need portability). Does OpenGL do this better? (subject to switching)

SDL likes XGrabKeyboard() in full-screen mode on X11. This leads to blocking of the hot keys of the manager window.

Fix the SDL or fix the window manager.
