Mailchimp Embed Form Integration with SSL Website

I am trying to integrate the Mailchimp registration form with my website. I generated the form in Mailchimp and copied the embed code to my site. The problem is that my site has an SSL certificate, and when my potential customers try to register on my mailing list, it gives them a security warning (in firefox) saying:

"Although this page is encrypted, the information you entered must be sent over an unencrypted connection and can be easily read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?

Is there any way to avoid the warning?

Thanks so much for any help.

The short answer. No

Longer answer. No, you are stuck with this warning. You send to an unsecured site from a secure site, and the user will receive this notification.

I also had to face the same problem using the default code provided by mailchimp, but it did not work on the SSL site.

So, after googling for the solution, I found this link:

Stop MailChimp forms that violate your SSL

https://www.ostraining.com/blog/coding/mailchimp-forms-ssl/

and that wasn’t a big problem, just need to change the url from list-manage1.com to "list-manage.com"

just need to check after removing 1 from list-manage1.com, and after that it worked fine.

It is also great for post-json links.

This works more than just embedding, but you can do it using the MailChimp API, which supports SSL. See the HTTPS / Secure Connections section in the API docs.

You can edit the form that Mailchimp provides for embedding so that it uses https rather than http in the action URL.
