Installation Error - Installing RVM on Snow Leopard

I am trying to install RVM on my Snow Leopard 10.6.8 using this:

\curl -L https://get.rvm.io | bash -s stable --ruby

And I get this error:

Halting the installation.

And make.log errors start here:

Try setting the location of the installed version of openssl with --with-openssl-dir=/path/to/openssl openssl.

more you can look at https://rvm.io/packages/openssl/

I got my work with the following code that I found on the MacRuby website:

 $ sudo xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/

If you use a version of Xcode later than 4.3, this will determine the installation path.
