TFS Build creates several configurations despite choosing Release

When I build (TFS 2012) my 4 solutions with configurations for assembly = Any CPU | Release he builds all of them as Release, 2 of them as Debug | Mixed platforms and one of them as Debug | Any processor.

If I installed it for release, I would like it to only build the release. Can someone give me some idea of why it also performs some debug builds?

A few things to check:

  • Did you specify several configurations for the assembly in the assembly configuration? In the assembly configuration, go to the Process tab, then Items to Build Configurations to Build .
  • Secondly, review the solution configuration. You can go to this via the Build menu in Visual Studio, then Configuration Manager . Here you can edit the method of creating projects based on the given configuration of the solution.

Update

  • If you customized the build process template, try deleting it back by default and see if this problem persists.
