What is a good SPA structure to use with typescript?

This is the first time I’ve looked into SPA applications, and thought that durandal looked good, as I am already doing it with a knockout.

I found an example of using durandal and typescript here , but typescript does not look very typical. that is, it is not in the module and securely wrapped, member variables are blown out of the water. It also doesn't seem to use most of the definitions in the durandal.d file, which makes me think that there might be a better way to do this.

Now I am a complete newbie to typescript, so I don’t understand how to do this, but at first glance it seems pretty simple. But getting durandal working with it seems pretty hacked and that it would be cleaner to write it in plain javascript. This is fine if you do this, but I was looking forward to the typescript going through its steps.

Can anyone recommend a SPA that works better with typescript? I'm going to take a look at Breeze, but more suggestions would be very welcome. Especially if they contain links to sample projects.

Take a look at http://addyosmani.github.com/todomvc/ , which has implementations of a simple todo application in various javascript libraries. This is a great place to see what subtle differences there are in javascript libraries.
From there, see if you can find definitions in DefinatelyTyped for the same libraries: https://github.com/borisyankov/DefinitelyTyped
We use Backbone.js with TypeScript and find it to be a very good match with the jasmine.js unit testing and the IoC container from here: http://blorkfish.wordpress.com/2012/10/17/typescript-implementing-a-simple- ioc-container-for-service-location /
