Could not load file or assembly "Newtonsoft.Json.Net35

My code throws this exception to execute

{"Failed to load the file or assembly Newtonsoft.Json.Net35, Version = 4.0.2.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 30ad4fe6b2a6aeed 'or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.": "Newtonsoft.Json.Net35, Version = 4.0.2.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 30ad4fe6b2a6aeed "}

But I installed Newtonsoft.Json using NuGet

How can i fix this?

Several variants:

  • Make sure nuget has updated the packages.config file and the packagerestore package is included. This can cause problems when using VCS, and the user does not correct the changes.
  • Try restarting VS, I found that after shutting down from VCS, links are not always updated correctly
  • Open nuget, uninstall the package and reinstall it.
