Android ListView Adapter notifyDataSetInvalidated () vs notifyDataSetChanged ()

Question

What is the difference? There is no description in the Android documentation for notifyDataSetInvalidated (). I thought maybe you call this function to notify all registered listeners, but use notifyDataSetChanged () to notify them?

Changed means the dataset has changed. Individual items are updated, or items are added or removed. Invalid means the data source is no longer available.
