Can we have add-ons (FireFox) or extensions (Chrome) in mobile browsers [Android or iPhone]

Can we have add-ons (FireFox) or extensions (Chrome) in mobile browsers, for example, as we use them with web browsers.

Can we do the following:

  • Install the extension or plugin or add-on in the Mobile browser. (The mobile device can be Anything android or iPhone).

  • And can we use the events of clicking on the touch and text areas, for example, how we use them to get them and do something for our use of plugins.

  • Can we use javascript or ajax calls and access browser events without using web browsing.

  • I need to know that

If custom types or clicks are in text fields, I need to know about this and get access to the browser text field and do some useful things to execute the code.

But I do not want to use a separate application for browsing the web. And I really want to stay in the current view of browsers and do everything higher.

For Android, you need it. Please help me with this, I have a lot of research, but I could not find a solution.

I want to know if we can do this or not.

I have hope for you geeks, please give me an offer. Thanks in advance.

Unable to add chrome extension for android according to this .

In Firefox, you can add several add-ons for Android. Just go to the firefox admins site from your device. This probably only shows those that can be installed on the device.

You can write an add-on for Firefox Mobile using the Add-on SDK . Take a look at the documentation, in particular the Firefox Mobile Development Guide.

Kitt supports extensions on the iPhone with a subset of the extension infrastructure used by Chrome.

Chrome for android still does not support extensions. However, its a pretty good browser. If you really need add-ons, you should try Firefox for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox

In addition, you can try both versions of the browser. :) I hope I was useful

The beta version of Chrome for Android is currently available. It says that you can install add-ons. This, IMHO, is very good and better with each revision. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chrome.beta&hl=en
