Windows Store template missing in Visual Studio 2012 Professional

I am trying to follow the Getting Started tutorial to create a PhoneGap application for Windows 8.

The manual says to open the template: installed> template> other languages> javascript> store store. But this template does not exist.

I am in Visual Studio 2012 Professional Version 11.0 Update 1. Visual Studio Express was installed on this computer before Professional was installed, but Express was uninstalled before Professional was installed.

How do I get this template?

Windows 7 is not supported, so you cannot use these templates.

Indication of MS documentation:

Application development for the Windows Store in Visual Studio is only supported on Windows 8.1 Preview and Windows 8. Windows 7 is not supported. In addition, developer licenses are not available for Windows Server 2012, so you cannot create applications for the Windows Store on this operating system.

This also applies to VS2013

I run VS express 2012 and found that window store templates were missing from me as well. I found this page that points to a call to the Devenv command line to install the templates, so maybe try this

I'm curious to know how you use PhoneGap and the Windows 8 app together ...
