If I remove the APK from the Play Developer Console, is it still available for download until I delete the publication?

When I download the updated APK to my game on the new Play Store developer console, I get red klaxons and badness, because it contradicts the previous downloaded version. I think I need to click the "Archive" button next to the previous APK, but it's scary.

Can someone confirm that the end user will not see any changes until I remove the "Publish" button? My application will not be removed from sale in a few minutes?

EDIT: originally mentioned Delete when I meant Archive

UPDATE: I scored a bullet and ended up in the archive yesterday. We have not yet published a publication about the new APKs. The Play Play Play page now says that the game was updated yesterday. Hold me, I'm scared.

This is the first action you post. Just played with my own apk to check it out. If you create the wrong configuration, for example, archive the latest version of apk, it will disable the publish button, so you cannot publish it.

It only creates a draft when archiving. The project is primarily valid for publication.

You cannot delete published files, so if you see the β€œdelete” button, you can simply download the unpublished APK. You can safely erase it as soon as a local change

When you want to update the application in the play store, you need to: 1. Increase the version code in androidmanifest.xml 2. Download apk in playstore 3. Publish apk

Note. Apk, which is published, is available to users.
