How can I debug my application on my Windows 8 phone?

Am, using Visual Studio 2010, developed the application and debugged it in Windows Phone 7.5 after registering with the [windows phone Developer Registration] application.

Now I have a new phone with windows 8, I could not register, because I read that Windows Phone 8 will not be supported by zune. Without zune [windows phone developer Registration] will not detect your phone.

Some people say that I need to use Visual Studio 2012 for Windows Phone 8, then the problem is that I only use the Windows 7 operating system for desktop computers. Visual Studio 2012 requires the Windows 8 operating system.

Please suggest me run the application on Windows Phone 8 using visual studio 2010.

If only one method is developed in Visual Studio 2012, then my application will support Windows 7 phones.

Please help me with your suggestions and answers.

That's how it is, you need VS2012 for WP8, which itself needs Windows 8. You can always download the evaluation version and use them, ultimately, inside the virtual machine. Pretty much the same story as for Windows 8 application development.

Regarding phone version compatibility, Microsoft will recompile WP7 applications so that they can run on WP8, but I don’t know that this is happening the other way around.

WP8 does not need Zune, and it is still not available on Windows 8.

I myself had to upgrade to Windows 8 for this very reason ...
