Unsupported major minor version 51.0, but my JRE is updated

I built a Java application in Eclipse on Windows 7. I have Mac OSX 10.7.4 on a VMWare machine.

I created an application with JDK 1.7. I have JRE 1.7 on my Windows and the application is working fine. I have installed Java 1.7 on a Mac VM machine.

When I run the application on my Mac VM, I get the error message "unspported major.minor version 51.0".

I know that this error means that I do not have the correct JRE to run my JAR file, but I have JRE 7 installed (I installed it today).

My application uses Apache FTP client libraries, but all of them are included in the JAR file (I exported the Eclipse project to a Runnable JAR file with all the necessary libraries).

A solution to this problem can be found on this post: Installed Java 7 on Mac OS X, but Terminal still uses version 6 .

Thanks for helping everyone.
