File extension smaller in windows

How to create fewer record files in Windows?

My ESP tells me that you are trying to create it using notepad.

i.e.

notepad myheader

And notepad creates myheader.txt file

You can do

notepad myheader.

(note the dot after myheader). This will create the file without the extension.
