IPhone application cannot be installed at this time

I tried to install iphone application from testflight. it installs perfectly on several devices, but in some, after installing about 80 percent, it gives the error "Unable to download aaplication, cannot be installed at this time", I can find out the reason why this is so? This is a screenshot:

could not be installed at this time

Is there anyone who can help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Clear your cache and cookies in Safari, make sure your device is in the settings profile and settings profile installed on the device.

If all of the above doesn’t work, try creating a new assembly with a higher build number and try distributing your application again

The most common problems that cause this are ( from the testflight website ):

  • Device memory full
  • A provisioning profile is a developer training profile
  • The ad hoc distribution profile is corrupted and the device has a problem with it.
  • The device has been restored from backup and causes a conflict for distribution through the air.
  • There was a network timeout
  • The architecture parameters of the assembly and the device are incompatible (sometimes this can happen - when only "Build Active Architecture" is enabled during construction).
  • Do not use Mobile Safari.

it turned out for me that my client ipad is running iOS 4.2.2, and my project supports 5.0+.

The default settings for Xcode are set by default to ONLY_ACTIVE_ARCH (only for building an active architecture) to configure Debug.
Thus, your assembly cannot be installed on equipment other than the one you use for development.
Change this setting and installation should stop.

As for Xcode 5.1, the problem was in the arm64 architecture in VALID_ARCHS . Creating a release configuration for device 5.0 locally gives the following error:

Xcode cannot install or run applications that support the 64-bit architecture on devices with iOS versions prior to 6.0. This configuration is supported for distribution through the iOS App Store, but cannot be used during development with Xcode. To continue, edit the Run Scheme action and select an assembly configuration that does not include 64-bit architecture.

Removing arm64 from VALID_ARCHS solves the problem. In my case, I had to create a separate branch for testing on iOS 5 devices.

You can try to publish the application by changing the build version. I also had the same problem, and I tried to do the same, just changing it. It can help you.

For me, setting Build Active Architecture to NO ... works and successfully installed

Watch the console using Xcode Organizer for a device that cannot be installed.

You will receive a message from the system telling you what is wrong. There are many potential causes of crashes, so if you don't check the message, you just guess ...

Here is what worked for me:

  • Clear your cache and cookies ( Settings > Safari ).
  • Delete the existing profile (if any) associated with the Test Flight Application ( Settings > General > Profiles ).
  • Open Safari and go to https://testflightapp.com/ . Log in and follow the instructions to get started.

PS I used to have a Test Flight app, but it looks like it crashed and the icon turned white. Rebooting my iPhone made it appear again.

I also had a problem with the Ad-Hoc iPad app when trying to install it on an iOS 6 device.

For me, it is fixed that you need to click on the project in Xcode and change the " iOS Deployment Destination " from 5.1 to 6.0.

And I was stupid to think that iOS 5.1 applications would run on an iOS 6.0 device.

I just saw this as a result of a network error / timeout on a flaky network. I could see that the progress indicator increases after I got a bright idea to just try again. We also saw HTTP Range requests on the download server with ever-increasing offsets of several megabytes (the entire application was about 44 MB).

I had this problem, but I fixed it, making sure my code signing identifier is ONLY like the one I used in the test flight.

After that, everything works fine

This can also happen if you turn off the cellular data for the "App Store" (for example, while on vacation) and forget to turn it on again. The solution here is to simply re-enable it in Settings β†’ Cellular.

in my case, the application wants to use iCloud services, but in the section. a provisioning profile has not been installed iCloud enabled. enable it and update your profile.

I had the same issue after scrolling with certificates (argh).

The problem became apparent as I followed the comment by @ Duraiamuthan.H I installed on the device. The device reported that 0xe8008016 (Rights) see here here

The initial reason was that the target testflight program used the App Store distribution certificate, not the Team certificate. I fixed this and installed the application on the device using Xcode, and then it also worked with testflight.

I had a similar problem. However, I was able to fix this when I update the iPad timings to the current level. I just checked the device log and found that the time in the log was shown 2 years ago.

We hope that updating the device time to the current time will fix the problem.

Missing an icon can be a problem. My manifest file points to a nonexistent image and it does not complete the installation process. Placing the icon on the appropriate path resolved the issue for me.

I ended up creating new Provisioning profiles, not sure if this was because of:

"The ad distribution profiles are corrupted and the device has a problem with it."

I had the same problem as @ mohitum007. In my case, the developer of this application included the expiration date .

As a workaround, I set the date back to the last date (for example, last month). Then I can install it and use it.

Also, when I returned the date to normal, the already installed application no longer started. I contacted the company of this application to send me an updated version.

Sidenote: I found out that users from other applications have the same problem, but are turning around: it will not install or start until a certain date.

Check if the deployment target in the General Project Settings section is larger than the iOS version of your device.

If so, you need to upgrade your device version, at least to the target deployment version. so that you can install the application on your device.
