Increase font size in JButton

I do not understand what to do to complete my project. I am working on a Connect Four game and I would like to increase the font size inside JButton. I'm relatively new to programming, and I haven't worked with fonts yet. I just would like to at least double the font inside the button to make it more visible during the game. Can someone help me or point me to find a solution? Thank you My code is below.

You can use:

 button.setFont(new Font("Arial", Font.PLAIN, 40)); 
  • "Arial" is obviously the name of the font used.
  • Font.PLAIN means plain text (as opposed to bold or italic).
  • 40 - font size (using the same numbering system for font size as Microsoft Word)

I'm not sure if this will work, but looking at the JButton docs, there is setFont (font font) that you can call. You can try passing the Font created using the font size you want to use with the Font(String name, int style, int size) constructor Font(String name, int style, int size) .

It works great with setFont(Font) . But there is only one problem, it also affects the size of your button if the font size is large enough ...
