Using CEDET in emacs 24.3.1

Question

I found out that CEDET is built in emacs 24.3.1, which I installed. Unfortunately, in all online tutorials, you need to install CEDET and provide you with configuration files that reference and download installed packages and files.

How can I configure the built-in CEDET and use it without any external installation? I am not sure how to use the embedded version.

It's near Emacs 23, but is Alex Ott A gentle introduction to CEDET still relevant to the embedded version? (it covers both versions).
