Run the application on the current emulator (Android)

I'm starting to use Android. I currently have an emulator. I created an Android app. When I launch this application, it starts the launch of a new emulator and works in this new emulator. But I want to run this application in the same emulator that is running.

Open the created run configuration, select the "Target" tab. Select the "Run on all compatible devices / AVD" radio button. Switch the combo box below this switch to Active AVD.

This will launch your application for all current emulators.

If you don’t have the device in the "Target" section. You can try restarting the AVD manager. to do this, open command prompt and enter the following command:

 adb kill-server

this will stop the AVD Manager service.

then enter:

 adb start-server

or

 adb logcat

to start the service again. Then check if you can add AVD as a Target .

try entering “Run Configurations” using the arrow attached to the run button in Eclipse.

then. in the "Target" section, you can select "Always request a device."
This will allow you to choose any working emulator or device.
