How to switch show / hide a hidden file in NetBeans 7.4?

How to switch show / hide a hidden file in NetBeans 7.4?

Every time I try to open a file in NetBeans 7.4, it shows my entire hidden file, and it is very annoying. I searched for it but could not find an answer so far.

Go to Settings (macosx)> Miscellaneous > Files

In the Ignored file templates text box , type

^(CVS|SCCS|vssver.?\.scc|#.*#|%.*%|_svn)$|~$ 

By deleting |^\.(?!(htaccess|gitignore)$).*$ From the default, you tell Netbeans not to delete hidden files
