Python Pandas Frequency Documentation

Question

I am trying to get the correct documentation for freq arguments related to pandas. For example, to re-sample a data frame, we can do something like

df.resample(rule='W', how='sum') 

which will repeat this week. I was wondering what other options you have and how to define custom frequencies / rules.

I agree, links to this particular part of the documentation are rather scarce. More general frequencies can be represented by filing an instance of DateOffset . Even more general re-election can be done with groupby .
