What are the possible reasons why the android failed to install. Invalid URI? Which URI refers to this and how is it invalid? It works fine in debug mode, but I cannot install it outside of debug mode.

This error can indicate many different things, and there are many different fixes. To summarize, I compiled:

• Problems with Eclipse: clean up the project, rebuild the project, restart eclipse.

• Invalid characters: remove any special characters in the Eclipse project name. Use only [az] and [0-9] not even [] (spaces)

• Error in the included bank: try without jar and see if it works if something fixes.
• Errors in installing the manifest package: right-click in eclipse on the project → Android Tools → Rename the application package (rename something like that, you can always rename it).
• Problems with the device: uninstall the application from the device and try to complete the installation.

I had this problem lately when you are doing Swedish, certify that the project name and all file names are only in English characters / nums.
