I clicked the hide button on the django debug toolbar and it completely disappeared from Firefox

Currently using Django 1.6, south and django-debug-toolbar 1.0.1

Today I clicked “hide” and it completely disappeared, it did not return to the small tab in the right corner of the screen. This also happens in Firefox, but not in Chrome or Opera. Firefox has no ad blockers or anything like that.

EDIT: Firefox "private windows" also do not have this problem. The only extensions I installed are firebug, pagespeed, yslow, and pocket.

I searched it in firebug to find out if everything is there, and here is what I found:

<div id="djDebugToolbar" style="display: none;">

When I remove the tag style="display: none;" in Firebug (or changing it to style="display: block;" ), the toolbar returns when I click hide, the toolbar disappears and style="display:none;" .

I had the same issue, but with Chrome instead of Firefox.

In Chrome, I clicked “hide” once, and I could no longer see the toolbar. In browser mode of Firefox, IE or Chrome, the toolbar was shown without problems.

Can you try to clear the browser cookies (or at least the ones specified for 127.0.0.1 or the host where you are trying to see DJDT)? For me, this fixed the problem.
