How to set list border in JavaFX

Question

I tried copying the link to JavaFX CSS and googling, but could not figure out how to remove the border in the list in JavaFX.

I tried to set the border width and stroke width to 0px. I tried to adjust the transparency of borders / strokes. No matter what I do, there is something that looks like a solid 1px black border around the list.

Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
