Problems with billing google geocoding api

Billing has been added to our gmaps-api project. And billing definitely multiplied as it was added about 4 weeks ago.

In the project toolbar, billing is displayed as available. However, when we try to adjust our quotas, it says that we need to activate billing.

We contacted almost all of the channels on Google and said that there is absolutely no support for billing with the developer APIs.

Us: "We want to give you money." Google: "No, and we won’t help you."

Has anyone else encountered billing issues with API projects, and if so, how did you resolve them?

Note. Finally, the representative addressed. You can ONLY bypass the quota by obtaining a Google Maps for Work license.

The billing option is just a false conclusion if you want to move to a quota.

So it seems that there are 2 limits.

  • You can geocode only 2500 addresses per day without payment.
  • You can geocode up to 100,000 per day if you provide billing, but you are limited to 2,500 per session.

I seem to have this problem too. I have a setup for payment transactions, but I need to set up several sessions to exceed the 2500 limit.

If you want to get over 2500 per session, you will need a Google Maps for Work license. It is right?
