How to download an older version of magento

Question

I want to download an earlier version (1.7) of magento.

• I can not find the zip / tar file on magentocommerce.com for version 1.7.x
• I tried with the bootloader, but it loads the latest version instead of 1.7.x.

And then click on the Release Archives tab , and here you will find the old version of magento
