How to remove MAMP Pro

Caveat: I'm still new to Mac and OS X.

I downloaded MAMP from mamp.info to install on my latest 2012 iMac running OSX 10.8.5.

The installer provided me with the ability to install only MAMP or MAMP and a two-week trial version of MAMP Pro. After installation, I saw that the following applications were installed: MAMP, MAMP Pro, MacGD8p, MySQLWorkbench, and Sequel Pro. I do not know which programs are part of the MAMP Pro package, and which come with the free version of MAMP. When I tried to start MAMP, I saw this message:

"A warning

MAMP PRO software installed. We recommend that you administer the server only through MAMP PRO, since the simultaneous use of both programs can lead to unexpected results "

I did not allow MAMP Pro to initialize its components, and I want to remove it and all other applications that are part of the MAMP PRO package. I read the removal instructions on mamp.info here: http://documentation.mamp.info/en/mamp-pro/installation/uninstall . This document mentions the uninstaller that can be found in the "MAMP PRO installation image". However, what I downloaded from mamp.info was an installer, not a DMG file, so I don’t know which image they belong to. In addition, none of the other programs that were installed were listed in this document.

I also found a previous question on this forum here: Removing MAMP PRO from my mac , but its more than three years old, and again none of the other programs that links were installed.

How should I proceed?

You should have two folders in the application folder. One of them will be MAMP and the other is MAMP PRO. In the MAMP PRO folder you will find the uninstaller for MAMP PRO. Just double click and on your way. He will leave MAMP for you, which is a free version.
