Nexus 4 does not show RSA dialog when connecting USB in debug mode

I did a factory reset and my computer was recently installed. I turned on USB debugging and connected to the computer. It shows that the drivers are installed successfully, and I see this in the device manager. But the phone does not show the RSA dialog to confirm the connection, but in DDMS it is disconnected ... My connection is the official android 4.2.2 Has anyone encountered this problem? Please give some advice! thank!

/ ***** Update **** / I tried it on my office computer. When connected to an office computer, a dialog box opens in which the fingerprint of the RSA key is displayed. But since I tried this on my home computer, no dialogue and just notifications in the panel.

Using the terminal (cmd in windows), go to the sdk / platform-tools folder.

Then run the adb devices command.

You should see β€œLaunching the daemon,” and then a Fingerprint popup will appear on your device.

If this does not happen, disconnect the USB cable, restart the computer, connect the cable to the phone, and try to run the adb command again.

For Linux adb kill-server or if adb is running in sudo sudo adb kill-server

In the Android device Settings> Developer options> Cancel USB debugging authorization The USB Debug option is still enabled

Connect the device to linux mach. sudo adb devices

check RSA fingerprint popup

Make sure the Android SDK Platform tools are updated to 16.0.1. I ran into this problem after upgrading to 4.2.2, and updating adb and platform tools solved the problem. The steps here are described in detail here β†’ http://www.thekirankumar.com/blog/2013/02/17/how-to-fix-adb-device-offline-issue-after-android-4-2-2-upgrade/

I had the same problem with my Mac book and it solved it by firing Parallels from the desktop.

The problem manifested itself for both the Motorola Atrix and the new Galaxy S5 on 14/14/2014.

The problem was that the sequence

  • Connect USB Mac to Phone
  • Get a call to use this phone for USB debugging
  • Confirm RSA Key

Interrupted at the device recognition level.

For me, the problem was that Parallels Desktop stopped acknowledging to ask if I want to connect this device to my Mac or Windows instance.

If Android Studio is installed on your computer, you can see the RSA dialog through Android Studio.

  1. Open Android Studio
  2. Run project
  3. Choose the device you want

then the RSA diolog screen appears on your device.

You need to enable the developer option by choosing Settings β†’ About phone β†’ Press 7 times on the build number option.

Then open the command line - check the adb version by typing "adb version", if it shows 1.0.31, then you can go again, upgrade your adt version to 1.0.31 or higher.

After executing the above adb devices, it will show the device offline and the RSA Key dialog box will open on your phone. Always specify an option, and then you can see the device online.
