Why am I getting a "Failed to register package" error message in Windows 10 UWP?

I have an application designed for Windows 10 and UWP. The app works correctly for x86 and x64, but when I try to run it on a mobile device that targets ARM on the Nokia Lumia 820, I get an error message during deployment:

DEP0001: Unexpected error: package could not be registered. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80073CF6)

There are other issues related to this error, which suggest that it may be a problem with the user's general certificates or that you can "Use audio and devices in the same background task", but I don’t , using any of them. There is also an assumption that this may be due to a missing icon , however, as far as I know, I include a lot more icons than I really need.

I tried to delete everything from the folder of my resources and delete it from the manifest, but this also did not solve the problem.

Change I also tried to create a new empty generic project that also works on x86 and x64, but not on a mobile device.

You need to run Windows 10 Mobile on your Lumia, and you should at least have OS version 10.0.10240.x. This will work with the version of Visual Studio 2015. If you have a CTP or Preview Version for Visual Studio, you must upgrade them to run it.

To get a preview on your phone, you need the Windows Insider app on your phone and follow the instructions. Select the “quick ring” to get the last bits. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-download-phone

Get the app here: https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/store/apps/windows-insider/9wzdncrfjbhk

This should make you work for you.
