The connection was reset to wamp

I installed the wamp server on my computer. Then I installed the zend app. I placed it in the medaffiliate.com catalog in the www catalog. When I access this directory using localhost/medaffiliate.com , it just shows

  The connection was reset

I liked the many answers https://serverfault.com/questions/74313/what-could-cause-an-101-error-in-wamp-under-windows-7

Everyone is talking about closing mysql_close($connect); . My Apache error log shows me

I found other people who faced such a problem when they create a database connection. I created another project in my www directory and connected to the database. It works. But not my project.

I am using os:window 7. Apache : 2.2.17, PHP:5.3.4, Mysql : 5.1.53

I had a similar problem that I could not fix by increasing timeouts and memory limits.

After many hours of trial and error, I finally came across this post: https://drupal.org/node/1597820 , which solved the problem for me.

Add the following to the end of httpd.conf to increase the Apache stack size to 8 MB.

 <IfModule mpm_winnt_module> ThreadStackSize 8388608 </IfModule>

I have repeatedly experienced this error, and the solution for me was to increase the size of the Apache stack (apache.exe or httpd.exe). You will need Visual Studio for this, but you can use the trial version, just like me. You don’t even have to turn it on. Command:

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\bin\amd64>editbin /STACK:8000000 "c:\Program Files (x86)\WAMP\apache\bin\apache.exe"

Change the tracks above to suit your environment, of course.

There are several utilities in the Visual studio VC / binary / directory called editbin.exe. Use one platform suitable for you or try them one at a time until it works (like me).
