Upload file to Mobile Safari

What types of files are applicable for uploading to Mobile Safari using HTML file input?

I already tried jpg, png, bmp, gif, tif, tiff, and it works, but I would like to have a complete list of all the files.

The developer documentation does not contain any restrictions, so you can assume that they are not:

File upload and download Safari on iOS supports file upload - this is the <input type="file"> elements - on iOS 6 and later.

Please note that in iOS 6-8, you are in any case limited to a photo library, so what works there.

IOS 9 has a new file upload dialog, which apparently allows you to download from various cloud storage services, which greatly expands the file download area in mobile Safari.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but check out this article . This article is about how to enable Safari to download any file. By default, you can only upload photos and movies, so all the extensions you talked about worked.
