The same thing happened to me. I found this link which explains that running the Open GL 2.0 software (Genymotion emulator) on top of Microsoft RDP will cause the software to run on the client machine, not the host. I asked my boss to log into the physical machine, start the emulator, and then log out so that I can turn on RDP again, I'm pretty sure my emulator is working and accessible. I also found that using TeamViewer will not give this error, so perhaps if no one can access your physical computer, you can start the emulator through TeamViewer and return to RDP as needed. Good luck with this, it was very unpleasant for me!
