Are you trying to run genymotion through rdp on a Windows virtual machine? 3D Acceleration on Windows only works when using a physical console, sorry for my English.

This is what I did to understand the problem.

  • uninstall Genymotion / VM virtual device / graphics driver (my is intel) and reboot
  • install the latest graphics driver
  • install genymotion (without virtual VM device)
  • Download and install the latest version of VM Virtual Appliance
  • manually start the device on the virtual device VM
  • run the device in genymotion mode
