ITerm2: How to temporarily expand the separation area?

Is there a way to temporarily expand a split panel into a full tab and go back when it's done? I am looking for a keyboard shortcut for this. A use case is the ability to temporarily switch to full-screen mode on demand.

To increase your active panel, simply Cmd + Shift + Enter on the screen you want to expand.

I cannot find the menu bar Preferences > Keys > Action > Select Menu Item > View > Maximize Active Pane

My workaround is to right-click on the panel, select " Move Session to Window and expand this window.

Then we can Move Session to Pane to move it back.

You can expand and collapse the current panel using Cmd + Shift + Enter

There are many hotkeys that you need to remember, and at startup it may be useful to print the documentation or quickly scan it with find in your browser.
