Finding Unused Resources in VS 2012

So, first of all, I preface this, I know that this question was asked earlier, it is here Find unused resources in the .NET solution , and I like it so old that it matters little to my current situation.

First of all, these are the specifications and requirements for this solution that would suit my needs.

  • This should work for / with VS 2012 Premium with the 2012 web platform version 2.7
  • I am running TFS, where 4 solutions invoke shared files from the parent solution, so the environment is shared between the main parent solution and some of the solutions for children. I don’t have a ton of choices about how it was set up, so I have to live with it at the moment, but I need to remove unused assets from all 5 decisions that I am ready to take with me, which only allows me to go for one time solution and just you will need to do a cross comparison.
  • I tried a plain text search in files looking for a specific image, etc., but several contractors worked on it, so some used a standard image link, and some used only CSS to put the image through the background. If this can check for problems with images in css files, as well as html files or templates, that would be great.
