I get the error Exception (VBoxManage): java.io.IOException: cannot start the program "C: \ Program Files \ Genymobile / reg": CreateProcess error = 2, the system cannot find the specified file when I try to run the genymotion eclipse plugin. What's wrong? I am using x64 windows 8.1

You need to set the correct path to the Genymotion installation directory on eclipse.

The default path for windows is C:\Program Files\Genymobile\Genymotion

Check out the Genialotion eclipse plugin tutorial: https://cloud.genymotion.com/page/doc/#collapse8

Change the name of the folder, start the splash screen in eclipse again and select the real folder, in my case "C: \ Program Files \ Genymobile \ Genymotion"

The problem is a space in "C: \ Program Files \ Genymobile". I would try using the path "C: \ Progra ~ 1 \ Genymobile / reg" if it can be configured. Another option is to go to a location without a place on the way.

I was getting the same error.

I was getting the wrong folder, its not only ... / Genymobile. His ... Genyobile / Genymotion

I had this problem because I did not first download and install Genymotion . I just installed the plugin from the Eclipse installation window and expected it to work. Dumb me.

I got the same error. The genymotion directory is C:\Program Files\Genymobile\Genymotion/reg not C:\Program Files\Genymobile/reg .

You can copy all files from C:\Program Files\Genymobile\Genymotion\ to C:\Program Files\Genymobile

Then it works well.

It seems that this error was caused by the wrong path for Genymotion, but actually it is caused by an error that prevents the Genymotion plugin from working with VirtualBox later than 4.2

To fix this error, all you have to do is go here: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_4_2 and download the version of VirtualBox version 4.2 for your OS. After reinstalling it, the error disappeared, and the Genymotion plugin correctly opened the list of devices
