Visual Studio 2015 installation problem - SqlDom_amd64 \ SqlDom.msi

I am trying to install Visual Studio 2015, however, after several steps, Installer displays a single message, as shown below,

enter image description here

I deleted the% temp% files, however it still did not work. This is not a package problem because this package was successfully installed on another WIN7 system.

The real problem is that some of your Microsoft certificates are missing from your windows to make sure this is the case:

  • Open Certificate Manager (Win + R -> certmgr.msc)
  • Go to the section "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" โ†’ "Certificates"
  • Check:
    • Microsoft Root Certification Authority
    • "Microsoft Root Certificate Authority 2010"
    • "Microsoft 2011 Root Certification Authority."
    • You most likely do not have all of them for some reason.

On another PC connected to the Internet and receiving Microsoft updates:

  • Check these certificates again, you will most likely see them.
  • Export them to an SST file.
  • Import the SST file (containing 3 certificates) on the first PC.

Install again, now it will work :-)

I believe that this will also fix some Visual Studio 2013 SDKDDKVer.h errors and related errors.

I ran into this problem only yesterday and did not find the exact solution, but there were some workarounds that did this work. I encountered problems installing the following components using vs_community.exe: - - SqlDom_amd64 - TSqlLanguageService - CT / AzureMobileServicesSdkV2.0
- Win10_UniversalCRTSDK - Library Headers and Sources - WcfDataServices - Win81_SDK - SQLSysClrTypes - SQLSysClrTypes_amd64 - SharedManagementObjects_x86 - SharedManagementObjects_amd64

TRICK:
- Since the choice of the place where this package did not help, I pressed the SKIP PACKAGE button for all the packages listed above. - And then manually run setup / msi-installers for the packages listed above. - Some of them were successfully installed as "SqlDom_amd64" and several others - But, to my bad luck, for some it was somehow a failure during extraction, so I thought that msi-installer could really be damaged for some. - So, for the left, I have to select "Repair" -option of "vs_community.exe" and select "Download packages from the Internet." - Finally, the setup was successful, and everything works fine.

I understand its workaround, not the solution, but it serves the purpose of limiting that some packages require an Internet connection.
