[App.yaml] argument is not a valid Google Cloud error for deployable files

I am going through a welcome world on how to deploy a nodejs app for the Google Cloud. I downloaded the Google Cloud Cloud SDK. I have completed all the steps until "Deploy the application on the Google Cloud Platform." When I get there, I will enter a command that they will tell you to enter. He asks if you want to deploy the module, and I said yes. All is well to the end, where it says

It looks like your project was created in Europe. Unfortunately, managed virtual machines do not yet support European projects.
