Some conflicts were detected in the installation area when updating Android Studio

Today I updated the Android version 1.3.2 (build 141.2178183) to 1.4.0 (build 141.2288178).
After I clicked the “Update and Reboot” button, it downloaded the patch file.
But after installing the files, this went wrong.

Some conflicts have been detected in the installation area.
Some of the conflicts below have no solution, so the patch cannot be applied.

Reinstalling will solve this because this is the second time I come across this scenario, but it is not a very good solution.
I also google a lot, but no one can solve it.

The only solution is to restart Android Studio, uninstall the old version of AS, and then reinstall it. Unfortunately, clearing caches and restarting - one - does not help.
