Failed to load resource: net :: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET on CDN

Recently, on a website I'm working on, I noticed an error below in the Chrome console.

Failed to load resource: net :: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET http://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.4.0/css/font-awesome.min.css

The bootstrapcdn.com url works when I try to open it in a different tab. It really slows down the page loading, but it only happens in this browser and only on my PC. I checked Chrome from another PC and nothing has changed.

I tried to clear my cookies, but this did not work. Any idea what this could be?

Download the file and assets, then execute it from your own server.

You will lose useful distributed content, but gain stability equivalent to your own server, and you will be able to set your own caching rules.

If you really need / need your assets, then register with your existing CDN service and start sending all your assets there.
