1) Right-click on the "Start" menu and select "Device Manager"

2) Right-click on the Android device and select "Update Driver"

3) Select "Browse my computer for driver software"

4) Select Let me choose from the list of device drivers on my computer.

5) Select "Drive" and find the location below and insert it.

<SDK Location>\extras\google\usb_driver

The default location may look like this.

 C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver

6) Click "Next"

7) Select Android ADB interface

8) Allow debugging on your device and all installed

Now you can develop too easily on Xamarin or any other Android platform and debug the right to your device

After upgrading to Windows 10, I tried all the methods except using the supplied OEM USB cable to connect my Galaxy Alpha phone. When using the USB cable that came with the phone, he instantly connected to my windows 10 pcs.

I just found that you need to first restart windows (8/10) with the function Disable Force driver forced execution , run the command

 shutdown /r /o

then select Troubleshoot , Advanced options , Startup options , Restart, and finally press F7 in "Disable driver forced enforcement" (only temporary until the next reboot), as described below:

http://www.top-password.com/blog/how-to-disable-driver-signature-enforcement-in-windows-10-8-7/

Then, after connecting the Android device, you can see it in the Device Manager , click Update driver software ... , Browse my computer for driver Software , Let me select from the list of devices ... , then there should be a Have Disk button, and you should be free to choose the directory with the loaded Android USB Driver.

At least this option worked for me with a combination of different ARM devices.
