SharePoint 2010 project is not compatible with Visual Studio 2015

I installed Visual Studio 2015 (Professional). But when I open the SharePoint 2010 project on VS 2015, it shows that the project is incompatible.

Could you tell us about any solution or idea for loading a project in VS 2015?

Your project does not load because the Microsoft Office development tools are not installed on your computer. You can easily change your visual studio 2015 by following these steps:

  • Run Visual Studio 2015 Setup File
  • Click to change

  1. Search for " Microsoft Office Developer Tools " and select it.

  1. Finally, click Refresh.

Once setup is complete, open your project.

When installing VS2015, you do not install the required Office Development Tools for Visual Studio 2015 .

Once you download and install it. (About 78 MB) your SharePoint projects should, again, load without any errors.
