I'm new to Android programming and I'm still learning the basics. I installed Android Studio and Genymotion, as indicated in the tutorials above. When I launch the Android app using the included emulator, everything works fine. But with Genymotion, I found the following error:
Installation error with null message. Perhaps this problem was fixed by uninstalling the existing version of apk, if present, and then reinstalling it.
Below are the versions of the software that I use ...
- Android Studio 1.4
- Java 8
- Oracle VirtualBox version 5.0.6 r103037
- Genymotion Version 2.5.2 Edition 20150717-d5a1e88
And if that helps, I am using a Linux system with Ubuntu 14.04 disto. I have attached successive screenshots as to how the error occurs. Thank you very much.
