What is the appropriate icon size for the 3D Touch shortcut on the home screen?

I could not find it by the icon and image size .

  • 104x104 for 3x
  • 70x70 for 2x

Since Apple automatically resizes and repaints the icons, it’s better to use PDF, which has the added advantage of looking sharper and reducing the risk of cropped edges when not using margins.

Here is a comparison of PDF with PNG (exactly the same icon originally and SVG exported from Sketch):
