Download jQuery file without using XHR or IFrame

Question

I have a download solution using a setting similar to this one where people can drag the file onto the page and upload it to S3.

However, I got into a problem loading XHR / Iframe. Essentially, if I leave forceIframeTransport , the file will be uploaded to S3 successfully, but the whole page ends in S3, like the one where the form is submitted.

When I turn forceIframeTransport to true , nothing happens. There are no exceptions in the console; nothing happens on the server.

I have included jquery.iframe-transport , jquery.ui.widget and jquery.fileupload on the page in that order.

It's hard to say without your code published, but maybe it looks like this problem iframe transport does not transmit data

They used a “fancy” button instead of the usual one and ridiculed onclick.
