Visual Studio Git Reset Sync Error

In visual studio 2015, when I commit and sync change, I get the following error:

Unable to sync because the current branch does not track a remote branch. Publish the branch to sync changes with the remote.

But I have no idea why this is happening.

To make changes to git, you first need to create a branch on the remote server where your repository is stored. Suppose you have created a repository for it and its associated visual studio, open Team Explorer, click the Home button (Home button), click Sync, and then Publish.

If you have not created a repository, you first need to do this. Open Team Explorer, click "Manage Connections" (power cord plug icon) and follow the instructions.

Try the work below to help you solve your problems.

The main screen of the Team Team Explorer:

  • Click "Branches"
  • Click on the dropdown at the top with branches | {Project name}
  • Choose Sync
  • Click the Sync button

Your branch will be moved to a remote server.
